Apart from the Cox news, everything else seems very positive.
Though we need Cox at 100%, cant ruck a whole season underdone.

The news on Masten, Ebert and Selwood is awesome.
If those 3 can take their already decent games to the next level I think they will hold us in good stead.

Im warming to Dalziell more and more.
He is obviously a dedicated trainer, just hope he is the right club now to help him play the role best suited for him, rather than just another midfield like at Brisbane.

Kerry sounds ready to go, Shuey seems 100% and Waters is moving well.

Woosha seems upbeat about our side, rather than playing the fimiliar 'still developing card' and his lack of passion for having Cox ready for the NAB Cup sounds like he is planning on the boys going well this year.

Not long now....

love all the secrecy stuff..and a beefed up (mature) mid sounds exciting..am hoping our mids and forward runners to be a revelation this year...cant wait.(oops, there goes the colostomy bag!?) :thumbsu:

Both did look ripped, impressive preseason from Masten continued to improve his fitness while adding clear bulk to his frame all after a PCL setback.

As for Shuey. With all he has gone through physically and phsychologically in 2009, to be able to run 3rd in our 2km time trail is indredible, funny enough Shuey does not look anywere near peak shape compared to the likes of Ebert, Masten and Swift.

It makes Shuey all the more exciting, he has a big tank but can clearly push through allot of pain. Could be so much more than what he was in TAC cup football as a principle ball winner who did not use his speed, marking power or running capacity to full advantage.

This preseason is allot more quite than others.

Skin folds rarely tell how good a players conditioning is EH. I have seen plenty of MMA fighters that are shredded but gas 2 minutes into the first round while the softer, smaller opponent beats him half to death.

I have been watching a few games over the summer, really don't notice how much work Ebert does on the ball when watch the game live. Really excited to see his progress after a strong pre season (which he hasn't had yet)

Rly? Either way he has clearly worked his arse off.

Yeah i dont have a seated membership but it's always nice to have both perspectives to give a clearer picture of whats going on. For me watching Ebert mostly through the box ive always been impressed with his ability in close but you clearly could see he lacked that size and the endurance to influence a contest, he cant bust packs with speed thats for sure.

Hope he gets over that magical 20 Disposals a game in 2010. Preferable getting to the 23-25 mark, depending on his role within the side.
