Basically the smaller the guernsey, the worse it gets.

Shocking.

Not only does it look like a yellow jumper with brown lines, it's extremely unflattering.

The fangs at the bottom and cut off stripes at the top make you look at the middle of the player. It doesn't have that good, simple, long and thin classic look that most striped jumpers have. It creates a really weird, bunched up, pot belly look.

Ergh. They either need another thin red hoop underneath, or both hoops to be evenly sized. And given it's a "mirror" of the guernsey I know which one I'd rather...

Just looked at mero's site and they've never worn these socks before. They've always been evenly sized hoops when they wore this jumper 50 or whatever years ago

They look to be evenly sized fat hoops which they've never worn in the past. Thing is why do it when for those who actually have their socks up (and not many do) it will look shit because the red will be mostly covered by the blue

Absolutely horrid. Adidas have show us all how easy it is to go from the best template* in the comp to the worst. Stupid collar, unneccesary shoulder panels, and fangs for stripes. So wrong on so many levels.

That would be a mixed colour of blue, red and white.
