It might be the case, but clubs have never been negotiating and doing new sponsorship deals less than a month from the first practice match.

How have ISC not ended up in the same situation BLK found themselves in?

Both seem to have the same strategy. Sponsor a truckload of teams, sell gear to small amateurs clubs, produce just a small amount of generic apparel to sell. Looking at the ISC website there is basically no items available outside of club based apparel.

I don't see where their large source of revenue is?

actually i havent even seen isc sell gear to smaller clubs except for port adelaide magpies and norwood

They've been definitely longer in the apparel business than BLK have been so that's a factor.

The yellow looks absolute shit.

The collar is so washed out but then the one on the hoops is fine. ISC have always had dramas with colours altering depending on material that no other manufacturer really had. The Dockers showed and show this.

Is it just me or do those jumpers look really glossy?

I've got (and might have played) in one of those ISC player issued jumpers last year and can confirm a few things (obvious from last year).

The jumpers are glossy but I'll call it more silky. They stretch like hell and kinder remind me of the Carlton ones from a few years ago.

In regards to the yellow... well one of our colours is yellow but after throwing them in the wash a few times, they ended up turning out 'chrome or bronze gold'. Hard to explain but I believe ISC sent us out a new batch (I don't look into these things).

I know the timeframe was probably really short but that's a very 'COAR' effort.

Clearly you haven't looked around. They even sponsor the jackets for the NRL's Footy Show segment with Big Marn.
