I really like the blue accents on the side panels though. Makes the logo fit better

Blue on the sides I'll say is break-even.

Shoulder seams are the bane of AFLW jumpers and are a horrible case of template-dictated design. They'd better not show up on our wings

The blue just completely throws off the colour balance. There is not one design you can make that will make it look good because fundamentally the colours just don't work well off each other. Red + Yellow is one of the easiest schemes to work with and it's incredible how Gold Coast find new ways to make it look hard.

I've always believed that a jumper is the reflection of a club. The amount of thought and effort you put into it is reflective of the effort put into all other facets of the club and that certainly rings true here.

You were able to put into words exactly what my brain felt about the GC jumper. The colour balance just throws me for a loop.

Nothing inherently worse with that Suns kit, border on the side is similar to the clash blue. Still a bad design, but not worse, just like... a sidestep.

new suns kit is ****en bush league lol. adding a blue stripe to the side panels to cater for "red gold & blue" in the song when the whole thing needs a revamp is tone deaf.

Not entirely wrong but I guess at this point it just feels like a step back with how long it's been and how little had been done to evolve the Suns brand. What troubles me is how hey actually would have had to sit down and say "yeah actually let's spice up the jumper a bit, I know, a dash of blue there should do it!" and then give NB the go ahead. The employees and higher ups at the club genuinely believe that this is presentable brand for a professional sporting team. It was hilarious laughing about it 5+ years ago, now it's just sad.
