Their jumpers may not be a straight up clash but I don’t think the grand final last year looked as good as it could’ve had Brisbane wore the Fitzroy guernsey.

Same with Brisbane and Port, it’s two dark jumpers that may not be a total clash but it could look so much better

I was surprised Collingwood didn’t just wear white shorts last year. Would’ve created a much better contrast while allowing both teams to wear their home jumper.

Not saying they’re obligated to, but it is something they’ve done in finals previously while being the home team (2009 SF, 2011 PF).

His 300th was in 2001 v Sydney at Docklands and he wore a 300 on his jumper, but none of the other players did

Neither team needed to wear white shorts. 2002 and 2003 Grand Finals showed that.

Yeah it looks solid but Macron might have their proportions off just a tiny bit. Feels like too much teal, possibly because the collar is the right shape but not the right size (same issue with last year’s retro jumper). I’ll attach a pic here but you can also see that on the original jumper the left side of the leftmost spike is in line with the middle of the collar, so this feels more like a post-Nike SBS jumper than a 2004 one. It’s still solid, not complaining too much. I do think some thick side panels would’ve helped them get the design over to the left without it looking too weird.

Bad news, I think they’ve used a player issue in that photo. On the close up you can see a texture that I’ve only seen on my 2023 SANFL Indigenous PI but not on my 2023 Prison Bar Retail.

Why couldn't that get that right? Even the side bars are missing and the bolts/magpie wings look a little smaller. The only thing it's a bit of an improvement from their 2014 botched job of that uniform design, but it's not at all a proper replica.

The additional teal is something alot of us non port supporters have said is a good thing.

The magpie wings are subdued more to the side and it's missing that nice side bar as a good breaking point for the back of the uniform. It looks awkward in this design where the wings look cut off or are disappearing from the side.

Personally I dont think the magpie wings (im assuming that is the SBS logo) are subdued.

Agree on the side panel though, that is messy .

I think the 2004 design had the wings (yes, the SBS logo) in more prominent view, not towards the side so much. I think that's because these wings/bolts/sbs logo have been shrunken down.

Looking at them front on i can absolutely see your point. Doesnt bother me but they definitely are more too the side.

Can blame Macron but someone at the club should have them correcting these things before they're produced.
Last years retro jumper was kinda botched too, the white was too fat.

Side panels would have helped the proportions a bit more, I reckon.

The SBS spikes are too far to the right as well. The first spike should be in the centre of the guernsey.

It’s better than the ISC version from 2014 but still a bit of a woeful effort all round really.
