If the Texans do go down the Columbia Blue route for next season it would be nice to see them trot them out against their AFC North opponents next season, for some old AFC Central love.

In reality, they'd be more likely to wear them against the Titans

Against the players wishes, the Lions have gone to synthetic turf.
They already had turf - they are moving from slit-film (which is the worst kind) to a different kind of turf

AFAIK the only indoor fields that have regular grass fields are Arizona and Las Vegas

Here's something I didn't know....

Players in the National Football League do not wear repeated jerseys, and they haven't for a while. In-game worn jerseys aren't worn again by the players once they've been used in a match. They could, instead, be traded with other players after the match, or they could be saved and later utilized for charity and contributions. What's more, in unique situations, the game jerseys are even swapped at half-time in cases of insanely hot weather.

All National Football League teams have a kit man who is in charge of their jerseys. These kit men are always on the sidelines, replacing torn jerseys and dysfunctional team wear during the game. Kit men are very close to some of your favorite players, running through all sports, not just the National Football League.

Where'd you get that from? Pretty sure it isn't true given the Kelce's have said they get charged for new jerseys if they swap their own with players from other teams

Here's a suggestion

Some Redskins Commanders news : "There’s potential for gold pants as soon as 2024, [Commanders pres.] Wright said, and he’s seeking fan input on whether a fourth uniform will include a gold rush theme (i.e. — an all gold uniform), a cherry blossom theme (like the Wizards and Nationals debuted recently), or another theme more specific to the D.C. area.”

I think theyre adding black again....they promo'd something unrelated and their logo has the lion outlined in black now
Sadly I think you're right. Why do teams (Jags/Lions/Seahawks) discard great uniforms in the search of the next trend, which never works.

The best uniforms are always the 70's-90's ones, before that new wave of design came in. It irks me that many sporting clubs (any sport) constantly play around with their branding. I love those clubs that stick to something and let the decades roll by. At least the NFL has a bigger bunch of clubs like that compared to other leagues, but it's a shame to see clubs still not sporting their far better retro uniforms.

I want to see the Seahawks old silver helmets back

Ditto.

I remember in the early days of the internet seahawks.com had a poll asking what their helmet colour should be 1) navy or 2) silver. Silver led for a lot of the early going, then the poll went dead, then the blue helmet was revealed.

From a Titans Q&A

Question: Hi Jim. I'm up in Canada and yes, it is very cold right now however there apparently is spring happening soon! That being said, I have been to a Titans game for every year except this year. One of the games I went to was when the Titans wore beautiful uniforms that resembled the old Houston Oilers unis. Unfortunately, they lost 59-0 to Tom Brady and the Patriots on an ugly "Saskatchewan-like" game weather-wise. The Titans performance wasn't great either. The uniforms were quite lovely. White with b baby blue Oiler helmets. Curious if there are any hints on future Titans uniforms or throwbacks and if there is an announcement is it just one colour or will it be home and away? Thanks!
Jim: Hey Trevor. Oh man, what a rough game that was for the Titans! As for the Oilers throwbacks, nothing has changed from what I've said previously. The plan is to wear them for a home game in 2023. The exact game is still TBD, but I've already said I suspect it will be for the game vs the Texans. Wouldn't that make the most sense?
