i cant name the exact one, but ill tell you he is the recruiting manager at one of the local NFL clubs and it is NOT Heidelberg he is at.
Too true - know for a fact that his old O & M club (current premiers) are very interested. There are many clubs lappin is towing along at the moment.. It'd be highly unlikely that he has "signed" on anywhere already..
which years do you disputeAs I said earlier, many blokes did stick around for a while. However the amount of years you quote for most of them is horse sh1t - pitty you can't make up as many fanciful figures for your number of supporters, that figure you can't make up or hide.... anyone who goes to a home game can see that for themselves.
Heard around the traps Dean Haydock is going to return to Eltham, any substance to this?
Mentioned on another thread as a candidate for the Epping coaching position.Pft, I think Docca spreads this same rumour every year himself.
Of course we would welcome him back anyday with open arms. His family work tirelessly around the club despite none of their sons having played there for years.
See what happens, but no certainty yet.
Not much has been said about who Greensborough are chasing? I've heard nothing and from what i'm told they're only 4-5 more senior players from being a finals side.
And what is the verdict on their new coach? What was wrong with the previous?
Apparently Montmorency have signed up young Eltham player Jake Whitling, throwing somewhere between $200-300 a game at him to play 1s there next year. He is supposedly leaving because of not enough oppurtunity at Eltham but he'd probably be more likely to get a game at Eltham next year than Mont I would've thought? I'm tipping he will be back at the Panther soon anyway though as he has played all his juniors there
i would have to agree with the train on this one, i have also heard that brendan o sullivan from eltham has had an offer to play at broadmedows footy club, and that are offering him 20 grams a game
I did also hear that Resevoir are looking at a new seniors captain in Joshua Ernest offering him 100 bucks and 3 women of his choice from the crowd after every game.

Yeah, that is 189% correct; But he knocked back the Hunge on account of the fact he would normally expunge the moola from his own pocket for the chance to get lucky at the Broth anyways.
I must say this Ernie Bloke has some Football talent, but he is the only bloke i have ever known to be knocked back at the knock Shop.
LOL it was for size purposes i beleive... Ernie is stateing he is going to have a massive pre season.
ha ha, you mean instead of calling hime the missing torso, they should just be calling him the Massive Pen is.
P.S - I like my Panther avatar better than yours Vazie!
Docca is the best footballer i have ever seen that is under 4 foot with a 5foot backside. ... He is a gun, the most underated footballer in the Valley over the past 8 years. Has been at the Bergers for maybe 8-9 years now? Legend.
Exactly. My prediction is the Doc will go around again next year for the Bergers. And might be tempted to go another after that.
Regards
Its a shame that mine is actually bigger than yours.......... BTW not sure if there is a diamond valley cricket page but Greg Wilson did infact take 6-24 for eltham on the weekend. If anyone knows this man i think there would have been some definate sledging involved in all of these wickets seeing as he cannot shut his mouth for longer than 7 secs.
Vazie,
I went and watched the 2nd afternoon of this game sipping vbs like they were goin out of fashion. Plenty of freindly banter from Wilo especially as he was a past legend at Lower anyway.
The game was evenly poised with Lower 4 - 130 chasing 200 and with about 20 overs to go. Enter (The Fat Lady) Wilo, and with his gentle outswingers that I have been smashing for 6 since primary school, and it was all over she wrote.
Mind you, had it not been for Skips carrying the Batting, Lower may well have won and won easily.
