Personally I rate the design of the jumpers. Something new and something a bit more bold than their previous brand. I just don’t get how you make this new logo, stick it on the jumper and decide to make it barely visible. Add the gold accents to the wave side panels and the logo, and it 100% would’ve been a great improvement. Logo is definitely growing on me though

A gold outline of the logo on the red home jumper would of been 10x better, as suggested above the waves should of been gold to create some contrast.

Just spitballing too, with it being a sun rising/setting on the coast, a silhouette of the iconic city skyline would’ve added a bit more depth and local identity to the whole rebrand

The red base needed to be darker, we've seen with the Freo stealth jumper, subtle colour changes work close up, but don't work on TV. I like the full red idea, but on TV it's going to look like it's just a plain red jumper.

I just don't get it. They had so many things to copy. So many concepts. And they have chosen a bad red training top.

Love the Red Kit, however the blue one looks more like a crows or eagles kit. Would love to see this kit in white with the yellow band and red logo and number.

I think there is potential but it does need some contrasting elements. I like your suggestion. The thought I had was a gold shadow behind the logo so it's still red on red but the logo is more visible, and it would look a bit like the sun's rays emerging from behind.

Don't understand the logic behind making the club colours darker, the comp already has more than enough clubs with dark colour schemes. They were heading in the right direction with the more vibrant red, gold and blue. Just needed a better logo and jumper design.

Change the yellow to more of a gold and it'd be better IMO.
