Sanders arm strength is just average cant make all the throw and for a family of athletes his pretty mid. His pocket awareness is pretty damn awful too. Then their are character concerns his inability to take blame for anything always someone else fault OL, running backs and his dad lets him get away with it.

Hunter is a good corner thou he tends to be grabby like Sauce. You watch some of his tape against the good wr he played like McMillian and his basically holding on every play. And he hardly ever gets called for it that will change in the pro's.

Bigger problem I have is Colorado doesn't have a win over any quality opposition 0-4 against ranked teams with Sanders and Hunter in the team.
Fair points probably. Only seen a couple of their games so can't claim any great authority.

I've seen this argument a lot and it's one that looks solid with the benefit of hindsight. But after making playoffs that year, a quiet QB FA market and an owner who saw Jones as the next Eli... most GM's are going to make the same decision, whether they're one year in or 10. I don't really undersatnd contract mechanics, so the structure of it maybe...

Looks like we'll either be drafting Travis Hunter or trading back. Either way, we'll be likely looking to trade or sign a QB rather than draft one.
Will be interesting with both Schoen and Daboll now staying. I think drafting a QB is in their best interests (maybe not the teams), gives them more time.

I think maybe they expect a QB to drop to three, or have a few sacrificial lambs for Archie next year

One more year of this feels like its tempting fate for both of them even though I think that is probably the best move.
Oh they are definitely gone with an Archie pick. Fresh start with a fresh QB. I hate that with a new GM though, needing to build the team around them without much experience.

Much of the chatter I hear lately is that is that Arch Manning is more likely to stay at Texas through 2026.

I think with Mara backing them for another year the inference is absolutely to either find a QB or else. Whether that's finding a way to draft Ward, identify and draft a solid second or third tier QB or a sign a free agent like Fields, who knows.

A bit more chatter around that Sanders isn't as well-regarded as some might think. But I guess it only takes one team to be interested. Can definitely see him sliding though.

Sanders isn’t going to slide, but I think all the teams know he comes with plenty of baggage.

I’m backing him to be honest, but he’s going to be a chore having on the team. Which is very un-Giants like at QB
