Swepson is bowling pretty well this summer tbh. He would of easily been in the discussion ahead of Zampa I would of thought.

I think Swepson, Sangha, Pope and D Short are all better options than him as far as wrist spinners go.

I can easily see Tanveer playing a lot of test cricket. It's just a matter of him not being good enough.

I can easily see Tanveer playing a lot of test cricket. It's just a matter of him not being good enough.

Tanveer has talent but unfortunately untimely injuries and some bad form have held him back. He is still very young and should develop nicely if given the right guidance.

"I didn't get picked because wrist spin in test cricket is dead" says the guy who has played 1 red ball game in 5 yrs, which was only because his state side were forced into it and they didn't actually want him.

I mean, if anyone is the authority on these things, it's that guy.
