Just throwing my two cents in to support what everyone else has said here and say that Gamepass is worth every cent. Can watch so much more than just games. I would occasionally just stream the NFL Network and watch whatever was on while doing some work or something. The only problem is they don't have Redzone streaming live. Not sure why but I guess we're getting that on Aus TV anyway so it's not such a big deal.
It also may depend on who you support. If you're a Cowboys or Giants fan your team is on TV pretty much every week anyway, but some of us only get our teams on Aus TV twice a season so the only way to watch is to get Gamepass.

And yes, anyone who knows someone that has something to do with AFL online should show them Gamepass and they will see how it's really done in terms of servers and quality. The AFL is ok but nowhere near as good as the NFL.

If the AFL had a service half as good as game pass I'd buy it up in a second.

This sentiment always bemuses me.

People are constantly saying that they wish the AFL had a Gamepass equivalent - we do. It's called Fox Footy.

You can't get an online Gamepass product in the US. Instead you get the Red Zone pass on (I think) Direct TV which has the equivalent of our Fox Footy.

I agree, it'd be awesome if we could all piss off Fox Footy and just pay $200 a year to stream 9 games a week. But it's so unrealistic it's not even worth considering - Foxtel (along with Ch 7) props up the AFL as we know it today.

Yea I understand this to be the main reason why by but I'd change my IP address to reflect a US address like people do with Netflix.

Just re-signed using the promo code REP15 for 15% off so was about $180 instead of $215. Saw the "promo code" box and googled it and found this. There were a couple of others for 25% off etc but they didn't work.

Thanks for this mate.

The code wouldn't work for Season Pass - it appears to only be Season Pass Plus.

Anyway, it made the decision between Season pass/SP Plus much easier - Plus only ended up costing an extra 40 bucks or so.

Benn waiting all day to come home and catch up on all of todays games and the thing is fracking down and has been for the last 6 hours!

What a crock of shit!

I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble with my connection. on a 25 Mb/s connection and an 802.11-ac connection, I shouldn't be getting buffering on the 2400kps setting!

I didn't have any trouble last year, so I'll take everyone's word for it and assume it's just opening day problems.

I'm still having no joy.

I'm prepared to give them some leeway today... but I won't be giving them much!

I'm interested to hear about other people's connection set-ups if you're prepared to share?
