Oh yeah. FetchTV came with our Optus cable. Was a nice way to get ESPN. Also still tap into the folks FoxtelGO though haha.

What I'll do this year is just go to NFL.com, watch the extended highlights of each game, to keep up to track with how teams look, players are going. I can never watch live, and have always relied on Gamepass where I come home around 9pm and watch the full Raiders game, and then crash, and then over the coming days watch the condensed versions of either all other games or a handful select games....depending on how free I am.

But ive been doing the same with the NRL this year. Just on the nrl app, clicking the extended highlights package of each game, voila, up to date with all the action and can view all 8 games in about 20 mins.

Might have to do that this year, given the economy is down, bills are always rising (eg, energy), and other expenses always happening like vehicle registrations, household repairs, lifetime membership at the local massage parlor, etc etc, all the basic requirements.

Reduced rate is the operative statement.....Foxtel Pricing Edict...the more loyal you are the less likely you are to ever see a reduced rate.

Take the AFL out and with A GamePass subscription I probably wouldn't renew Foxtel.

My auto renewal cancellation didn't work either so I just contacted support and told them there's an error and they just cancelled it for me.

$300!! What a joke. Plenty of football on Foxtel and FTA

Yep. I'm out too. There wasn't a minute that I even considered paying that price, especially after reading on this thread that it wasn't going to be available through Apple TV 3. There are plenty of nefarious by which to access games, especially if you are working on Mondays and don't get to watch games live.

You've never called up and said you want to cancel it? If you've been with them a while they will generally give you an excellent price for a 3-6 month period.

If your team is any good they will find their way into the prime time slots and you wlll probably get every game between FOX (7mate) & ESPN from week 4 onwards with the NFL's floating schedule anyway.

Gamepass = Absolute rip off. Never again for me with the every expanding coverage in Australia.

Same - second follow up email and its finally been cancelled
