RULE CHANGE AT NFL!!!!
The board have just passed a new rule for the 2011 NFL season... Basically, our “Play On Advantage” rule will fall in line with the AFL (as used in NAB Cup).
This means that it is completely up to the player to decide if there is an advantage – the umpire cannot recall the ball once a player decides to take the advantage.

Not saying I disagree bit rather a late announcement I think. Reckon there may be some teething with our umpires.

It will just complicate things for the younger umpires, but the game is consistently growing and player/umpire tension with advantage desicions may be settled, but i don't think it will have much impact
