So Denny. Can you answer me a question? I spoke to a group of Panther supporters last Sunday and asked how their coach was going. All 4 of them just stood there and looked at me stony faced and did not answer. Are the rumours true that there could be a spill at the AGM if the the current regime don't bow to there wishes?

As a supporter only I have no idea. The general feel I got was Mario was extremely well liked hence the signing him mid-season.

All I have heard is all players from this year have signed (we all know what that means though) and behind Mario.

Maybe stay away from KickAss whilst he is stuffing himself with DimSims.....he always looks stony faced as he thinks someone will steal one....
 
Pretty damn good game at Preston today.

Shoot-out in the first quarter turned into a tussle in the 2nd but Greensy had the answers and kicked away with the result over by 3/4 time. Macleod never gave up though, some real handy players in that side that I am sure if they stay together will be in the same position next year.

Not a great act by Macleods #9 for his yellow card, costly to be sent off for a pretty silly act.

Boro can take a lot from that win as Macleod where not there making up numbers. With their Captain back I am sure the 6 day break wont daunt them. Should be a great game next week.

Huge for their Club, all three sides in the Granny.

Now now OTP. Its the season of rumours. Let them fly, keeps us interested until next April.

Any truth to the rumour Boof that you have hired a cherry picker to come from outside the ground to video the GF?......sort like a thing a coach did years ago?
 
JA my man, sorry I know I said we wouldn't talk again until after the GF, but I just couldn't help myself, I've missed you that much. Looks like the master plan has worked perfectly and the Big Man will be back for the Big Dance next week. I hope you'll be able to make it, or are you still away for "Work"? I notice you posted pretty much just after the final siren so you must be following closely from your Overseas office. Listen, try not to talk to Stinger too much about the game during the week, because the poor kid will be having nightmares, which by virtue will mean he will keep you awake too. I can't wait for him or the other cream puff who went down like a bag of you know what, to drop themselves into the hole next weekend. Will be good to see them drop their heads like little turtles when they hear the big man coming up from behind them like a steam train. Toot Toot xxx

Mate you are a fog,....if you think THATB BLOKE went down like a bag of you know what...you're a flog. He was knocked out. No broken or fracture jaw stop living in a dream... It will be a cracker of a game but I'm sure that the experience should help the bergs...as I've said I don't care but ....and I am here for work...not like you lining up in flint off st every fortnight...you will be a chance to win he 19's good luck

So are the Boro boys suddenly a bunch if tough guys? Is that what you are trying to say? Or are you simply saying that Hberg are cowards?
 
The two best teams this season playing in the GF. What a great finish. Their meetings this year have been great to watch. It would just be fantastic if it's not spoiled by the wind tunnel. Good luck to both groups of players and their supporters. Both deserve to be proud after being dismissed in pre season forecasts. Significantly better than all other sides over the journey.
 
Congrats to Greens on having all 3 teams in the big dance, an enviable position to be in. No doubt Cramer St will be covered in green come Saturday.

tough call on whoever gets dropped for Bongo this week, at least he still can play off in a granny though.
 
1876, apologies as I seem to have let myself down, and got sucked in by JA. You know the saying, you lay down with dogs ... Anyway, on a serious note, any player that heads out there on the weekend will show courage as they do every time they play the game, whether that be the Burra or Heidelberg. My point has always been that yes, My Man Bongo might have transgressed and he has certainly payed for it, but there are a number of incidents each week that are of a similar or worse nature, and the vitriol that came his way was over the top. But now we come to the Big Dance, and he has a chance to make amends and show all the haters how good he can actually play the game. Go Burra !!!
 
Looking forward to this one. Boro has done very well making it to the GF after losing their captain. Bergers did obviously much better all year than most of us expected and the 2 best teams are in it.

I'm going Bergers by 16.. Only because the fact they have the week off and have beaten boro 3 times this year.

Hopefully Denny is one of those new 10+ on the board. He seems less highly strung than your good self:) As for me starting rumours. I heard it from 3 people, 2 of whom are Eltham people. Just thought I'd ask someone with far greater knowledge like Denny. I respect his measured response and will take it as answered. As for sucking your arse, I'm led to believe that some of the objects you've allowed to penetrate it may have led to some unsavoury health issues.......so no thanks.

As its nearly cricket season Brutal I get the feeling we are playing against each other soon.....no other reason you could be so flattering to me (although I am still bitter you cost me an 8 fa...I was justified in my sledge calling you Chris Tavare)

And I am not one of the 10+ but can confirm that I have heard that to be quite true but as I said I love the next 6 months as we start the rumours and innuendo awaiting round 1, I am sure I will be starting a few absolute rippers to keep people interested.

I still want to hear from Boof in regards to his hiring a cherry picker to video the Grand Final. I have heard this one is getting stronger.
