I agree with aussiedude that it looks a lot like a Roomba with silver/white sharpie lines but I don't think I'd go as far as to say it looks shit

I do like that it is different from the typical stadium though

shit might of been to rough. but i dont like it. and just wonder how bad the other concepts were.

The Raiders and their media partners seem intent of making "the death star" nickname a thing. which i dont know how drunk/high you have to be to see a death star when looking at it.

Considering it's the opposite colour to the Death Star, I can only assume the people that initially tried to make it a thing had only ever seen a picture of Darth Vader

Happens a lot across all North American sports leagues, sadly. Cities get ambitious and decide to build stadiums in hopes to land teams. The baseball stadium now known as Tropicana Field was built specifically to do such. It only received an expansion team after multiple efforts to relocate teams were sabotaged and, rather than be sued and risk its antitrust exemption being challenged, MLB awarded teams to Tampa Bay and Phoenix.

Quebec City also built a new NHL-quality arena in hopes of getting a team back, but that city has more problems hindering it from NHL status than just the lack of a suitable arena.
