Nick Trask

Nick Trask played half a dozen games with Brisbane in 1997. I was just wondering how good this bloke is because he is moving to my local footy team and I'm just curious.

The AFL played a pre-season lightning premieship in 1996ish. Trask was virtually the stand out player of that whole competition. Seemed to excel in the wet, but never delivered on that in the real stuff.

I reckon if you get a bloke who's been on an AFL list to your footy club it's a good thing. Was just one of those guys who was good without being brilliant. I recall him being quite nippy and agile.

Loved his work in the Luightning Premiership.

Also kicked a goal on Debut, wish he could have played more footy but I think now 10 years on he would be a very good player in a country league.

I recall taking a keen interest in Nick as I saw him play alot when he was still playing junior footy in Melbourne. Was a slippery player, that certainly knew where the goals were.

I always wondered what happened to this guy, I met him when I was on placement at the Lions, then he got cut and came down here to play for West Adelaide. I think he disappeared without playing a game. Anyone know if he decided to go home instead?

He played at Morningside during his Bears days. If i recall he may have been a bit of a figjam. But i guess that is par for the course sometimes.
