Nicoski problem

It looks this week that Nicoski will be dropped, if he is it will leave me with 3 defenders not playing. Nicoski, Lachlan Hansen, and Jake Edwards. This is something I can't allow, so should I free up some money and trade Nicoski for Harry Taylor or Scott Selwood or trade one of Hansen or Edwards for Taylor/Selwood and hope that Nicoski is just in a minor form slump and will play the majority of the season for the eagles? :thumbsu:

I suspect he'll play. Word on the Eagles board is that Fletcher is being dropped. So that leave Priddis out, Fletcher out, possibly Cox out. Will they want to make that many changes removing senior players? I'm not convinced. Wait till tonight before you do anything :)
 
Parasite is right. Don't do anything until tonight. Even then i don't recommend getting taylor. Full of risk mate.

Yeah will definitely wait until tonight, but what do you suppose I do if he is dropped?

Dunno, depends if you're willing to ride out a 0. I have Proud and Barlow in my team that are near his price range, having to juggle them though and I'm hoping they'll jump in value so I can upgrade Nicoski soon anyway.
 
Yup at the very least wait until tonight. Injuries to Priddis and other form concerns mean we 'may' be lucky with Nicoski and he'll continue to play.
 
I bet he is dropped from the team and then brought back in just before the start of the game for a last minute injury (or someone who doesn't make it through due to fitness).

I am going to chance my hand and leave him in even if he isn't named as if he does play with so many midfield injuries he is bound to score well IMO (but then I still have pfeiffer on the bench as an emergency).

who would you guys rather?

KENNELLY - 2 of the 3 games have been 120+ usually does well against sydney,

DODD - wonderful start to the season. can he keep it up?

GODDARD - we all know how good he can be

i have 610k but i prefer not to go to heath shaw

I got Kennelly. Goddard still coming back from serious injury put me off him. Dood, don't rate him. Kennelly only scored bad that one week because he got tagged I thought?.

I'm trading nicoski for one of Harry Taylor or Scott Selwood... iffy about which one to trade too.

Thinking about using my other trade for the week on upgrading gibbs to cooney or goodes...

That will leave me with 17 trades still.
 
Wait people don't trade him out, I just read a thread that said Embley didn't travel with the team, so Nicoski could be a late inclusion :thumbsu:
 
If you have the cash jump on the kennelly train, the bloke just doesn't know how to play a bad game. If you don't have the xtra pennies downgrade and grab barlowe now b4 the price increase ( all swan players are quoting him as the next adam goodes) thats good enough for me.
 
im gona hold on for 1 more week.. nicoski is in my midfield i already have palmer but dnt like taylors chances of holding a spot.. hes on the bench at oment and bird will get a run..

i wait for palmer like guns cotchin or myers or even mcnamera this week.. masten a smokey
 
My last 3 defemders are Nicoski (on the field) and Edwards, Proud (bench).

With 1 trade and only 20k in the kitty left I see my options as being
1. Trade Nicoski for Barlow
2. Leave Nicoski on the field and trade Edwards for S. Selwood in case Nicoski doesn't play

What do you guys think would be the better option.

Embley, the 2006 Norm Smith Medallist, last night pulled out of the team to play the Swans at Sydney's ANZ Stadium tomorrow night because of what the Eagles described as illness.

Wingman Mark Nicoski has been promoted from the emergency list to replace Embley for the round four AFL match."
