Managed to get a Metroid Amiibo when they came back into Amazon

Does anyone here play Animal Crossing? (Be honest).

If you give it enough time, it becomes extremely addictive and fun..
I argue if you give it enough time you find out how shallow and boring it is.

Every single release is the same. Launch with the bare minimum content, slowly release the same updates as the previous game then make a new game and rinse and repeat. And don't even get me started on their shitty system for visiting islands.

I bought about 10 back when Smash Wii U and Splatoon came out but didn't buy any more for years. Now I just buy the limited or good looking ones every now and again like the Banjo amiibo and soon the Metroid Dread amiibo.
I'd have to count for the exact number but I'd have over 100 of the things on display in my room. Half of them I don't even know what game they're from.

I am most excited abouta new Wario Game, especially as now you can play it with 2 players.

Man, I wish they would come.with Mario Kart Maker, giving it's now a versatile console/platform to create games, a make your own and download others MK courses would be amazing.

Seems like the natural progression from the Super Mario Maker series, at any rate.

Nothing particular excites me about this direct but it seems like they might have a decent variety of quality games

What i was the most surprised is how good all the characters/villagers are. Cube, Rudy and Filbert are my favourites! But a lot of the villagers are awesome. Making sure they are alright is actually a reason to keep playing. I wish you could have 20 villagers. Also surprised they didn't include the Cafe! But overall an awesome game, it just needs expansion packs.

Yeah it annoys me you can only have 10 Villagers at the Island at one time.

Would be cool if you could visit anyone's Island and steal their stuff/resources without that Dodo code.

For such a phenomenal money maker for Nintendo, you are right, an expansion pass/new content would be most welcome.

I was shocked they had nothing for it at E3. The game sold 31 million copies in 2020 alone. Astounding.

I can’t understand warioware; I’ve never played, have watched YouTube videos In the past and the treehouse today and don’t get it. Feels like something I have to try if there’s so many people who love it

Wario is my favourite Nintendo character and even i don't really get the love for Warioware.

Bring back Warioland. As a kid I had all the Wario games rather than Mario, so he's the true hero in my eyes. They were fantastic.

I know right ? Those platforming gamws on the Game Boy, Game Boy Colour and Advance were brilliant. There was a more novel and creative gameplay to those games than the usual Mario platformers.

I really wish Nintendo would put many of those old Handheld Classics onto their Retro Library, aside from the SNES and NES classics.

I gave dead cells another shot over the last couple of days and now I’m really enjoying it.

Ive figured out the key with these type games is learning the loop, as long as there’s some kind of reward it tends to hook you in. I hate when people say this about video games but rogue-likes genuinely get better after the first few hours.
