Whilst most people want Father son picks harder to qualify for I go the other direction. I think it should only be 20 games to qualify. I love the romanticism about it and believe it's one of the very few things keeping tradition alive at clubs. With the increase in player movement the stability of a few names could only be a positive in my book when it comes to bridging the gap between the history and the future.

Most against the rule seem to be concerned about compromising the draft but that ship sailed when they added all of the academies (including the ones that steal fathers sons away from their fathers clubs).

Couldn't agree more on the F/S thing. Traditions like this are crucial to maintaining supporter connections to clubs.
Don't want to 'sanitise' the game completely.
