Imagine complaining about how the decision would have been paid at the MCG when you've got to play as many games there in the last 12 months as the Crows have in the last ten years.

Maybe if they left their nest a bit more often they'd see what it's like to deal with it.

And we're pretty hard done by given our sterling record there

Maybe if we start playing there often enough to even remember where the ground is, we might start winning the occasional match there.

That's such a loser energy excuse though.

What, our team of professional sports people can't prepare and play to a winning standard because the patch of grass is unfamiliar to them?

To be fair, our record at Adelaide Oval in recent years not great either......

The pile on, in the back of the player with the ball on the ground, then it being paid as HTB is one of my pet hates.

The first pet hate is the push in the back with hands in a marking contest only being paid when it suits the umpire. That, and the holding on to Tex every time he goes near a marking contest rarely being paid for the number of times it happens.
Yeah hate that too. Or when a player clearly pulls in the ball and holds it against a player on the ground, only for the player on the ground to get pinged. It doesn't make sense not to ping the other guy. Either way one of them is getting htb and the ball will be cleared.

Brisbane whilst very much in their premiership window and in the middle of a nine game winning streak debuted young forward/ruck Henry Smith and have kept him in the side despite underwhelming performances… must be nice to have a coach that backs young players

Wouldn't that upset their momentum?

Id love for them to bring in a rule that if you’re not in the tackle and you’re the third person to jump on a player on the ground, free kick against.
Too black & white for the umpires to be able to manipulate.... ;)

Too common sense for the AFL to implement.

North, not content with having giving up pick 1 in this year's draft, are now working towards losing pick 2 as well. Several goals up over West Coast.
Its counter productive to what most are saying about the Crows but I like Norths momentum in building something

They have been struggling for so long its good to see the belief building

Just imagine if the Roos tanked properly last year, they would have had Harley Reid on top of the young quality already in their squad.

No pun intended, but they will rue that decision.

McRae is usually well considered but that’s a very dumb comment by him.
It's an accurate assessment

Rather than pretending that the umpiring is awesome, the AFL should be taking steps to remove home crowd influence on officials through getting rid of the umpires who succumb to it.

Surely a very simple mathematical exercise.

Dumb as in dumb for his footy club.
