With the expansion they will definitely allow new teams to raid the current sides. I've got no doubt Adelaide will be one. Hopefully the Crows have 3 or 4 flags before then and it won't matter as much.

They were allowed to raid us before too but nobody left. The issue is it's still a part time comp and most of our players are based in Adelaide. Not a lot of incentive to leave unless they can't get a game!

I just saw the May 28 on it.
Unsurprised that Port come in next year, nothing surer after the Crows made a 3rd Grand Final even if it wasn’t based on any research into the strength of the SANFLW & Women’s footy in SA, pretty stupid move bringing in Sydney and both Metro Melbourne teams that early, will be a giant talent gulf around the league for a number of years.
Sydney and GWS will be costing the AFL an absolute bundle to entice a stack interstate players over to even fill the teams plus find accommodation for them in Sydney during the season.

Each club has maintained a strong list of players and with a promising group of young stars coming through the ranks, this season may reveal the finest array of talent we’ve seen.
With the season just around the corner, we’ve named every club’s players to watch, with a mixture of young and experienced players included.
Central District
Shelby Smith
Central District skipper Shelby Smith is hoping to lead the Bulldogs to finals footy in 2022.
The Bulldogs’ newest captain, Smith has been a leading force around the park for her club.
She is a strong inside midfielder who isn’t afraid to go hard in the contest and win her own ball. Smith had an outstanding 2021 season, winning the club champion award, and she will be hoping to lead her teammates to finals footy in 2022.
Georgia McKee
Rising star Georgia McKee has become one of the most versatile young players at the Bulldogs.
At just 16, McKee has some of the best potential in the league.
The skilful small forward/midfielder is part of this year’s State Under-18 Academy and is being touted by her teammates as someone who could take the competition by storm.
McKee has the ability to blitz midfielders and defenders with her speed and athleticism and could make a big difference for the Bulldogs.
Glenelg
Piper Window
Glenelg youngster Piper Window has shown huge improvement over the pre-season.
The granddaughter of Magarey Medallist Gary Window, Piper has been a revelation for the Tigers.
The explosive winger is looking to continue her impressive form of last season when she was one of Glenelg’s best in its grand final win against West Adelaide.
Window has been selected in the State Under-18 Academy.
Sarah Goodwin
Glenelg midfielder Sarah Goodwin is set for a big 2022.
Goodwin was also a premiership player in 2021 at just 17 and she will be hoping to continue her momentum this year.
The hard-running midfielder out of Sacred Heart and the Goodwood Saints has shown the ability to outwork her opponents and could be a key part of another possible premiership run for the Tigers.

Not on any list at the moment I believe. She took time off for personal reasons in 2019 and then in 2020 chose not to pursue another contract. Not sure what happened with her.
Tell you what the sooner Nathan Burke’s out of this league the better, dragging the league down with his negative, ugly, protect his own arse bullshit way of playing football, if the Bulldogs had any sense they’d get rid of him straight away

Agree, but 4 matches in 16 days and life on the road caught up to them the last 2 matches, they got sucked into really contested scraps and with Bowers out North got on top and smashed them in the middle.
