The End Airplane Movie GIF by filmeditor

Been getting into the latest iteration of Wheel of Fortune on Channel 10.

Despite it being recorded in the UK with ex-pat contestants, it's quite enjoyable (and far better than 9's attempt at Jeopardy - also shot in the UK with ex-pat contestants). Graham Norton is a good host and has some good banter with the contestants.

Having no co-host and the board being fully automated took some time to get used to, but let's face it, no one can ever replace Adriana.

The rules and music are much more closely aligned to the US version than our previous versions - you get the dollar value per letter (as opposed to the flat value on our previous versions), and you automatically get RSTLE plus a further 3 consonants and a vowel on the major prize round boards.

The one thing I don't overly like is the toss up puzzles are a little excessive - all but the final round start with 3 toss up puzzles, which is great for the prize money but is a little repetitive when there's like 12 of them on a show.

Friday Night Lights getting a reboot

I enjoyed the original series

The Count of Monte Cristo. I just watched the first 6 episodes. 8 in total. Great version of a great story. There is also a movie of the same name out but unrelated to TV series.

I downloaded the English version

Watching Babylon Berlin. Just finished Season 1.

Really well done period piece. 1920s Germany. Police, politics, cross and double cross.

People who liked Boardwalk Empire I think would enjoy this - similar slow burn style.
