Really shows when watching other teams how important it is to just grab the 4 points no matter how shit youve played. Giants the other night and now Collingwood, having bad games but finding ways to lose.. which is why I’m happy to keep scrapping 4 points together every week (with the occasional Essendon type blowout). Teams will fall around us if we just keep the wins piling up.

I’m convinced all the melters on our board don’t watch non-Eagles games. I can’t begrudge that, the AFL is killing the fun of watching neutral footy, but a quick check of the final score never tells the full story. The Pies have been shaky for about six weeks now.

Second place is not just up for grabs, it‘s entirely in our control.
