They spent all week crying about Lobb instead of their slide back to their mean (mediocre). They have a terrible coach, terrible forward line and their midfield is overrated.

They’ve played 10th, 18th, 17th, 14th, 12th and 8th from last year

By comparison we’ve played 18th, 16th, 6th, 5th, 1st with 11th to come tomorrow

Fyfe, Switkowski and Taberner is the extent of their best 22 injuries

In terms of expected v actual output this season we’ve done better

I’ve always liked Pearce and a bit like Barrass he’s suffering a bit from what’s happening further up the ground

That said his comments about not talking to Lobb since he left and that pathetic premeditated push and shove before the bounce are indicative of a distracted captain that’s learning the role

I hope and expect he’ll come good in time. He’s one of footys good guys and he deserves some joy given his injury struggles early in his career - maybe after he’s been traded though

Sadly his body has failed him a lot. He’s also an old school key back. Reckon he’ll be like a Tahlia/ Emac and basically be gone by 29/30
