Richmond knocking off Sydney and to think some of you silly campaigners pencilled them in as a possible win for us lol
I'll stand by that call. We'll put in a randomly good performance at some point and it's not like Richmond will be the most consistent outfit this year either.

I’ve been going on about this from the start. For fux ache the bus broke down on the way to the game from their own *en home town…
And there would be some officious association rep ready to ban all of their unregistered players before the first bounce.

The difference in grandeur between tom hawkins 350 and boaks is sad

Tom lynch out for months with hamstring tendon injury. Noah Balta out for 3-5 with a knee

Another quality game on. Excellent viewing.
Exactly what oppo supporters must say when our games are on. But yes, the standard so far this season bar a few games has been ordinary. Skills are atrocious

I can't remember who but someone said on here how Harley Reid would feel disappointed because other draftees are tearing it up while he suffers at Eagles.

Honestly I'm not seeing how his mates or other draftees are tearing up the comp. If you look at the top 10 draft picks most of them have it just as bad. N Watson is lucky he gets near it.
C McKercher has done ok but at North isn't exactly in a much better place. Will suffer the same amount of smashings.
Duursma likewise.
Sanders probably will have the most opportunities for early success and to rack up the ball in a winning side being at the Bulldogs. Curtin at Adelaide who are a rabble likewise won't.

Most of the top 10 draft picks of last year look like they are in for some painful losses this season and have to earn their keep as Reid does. It's pretty tough being a draftee this season. Whole comp is a rabble and of poor quality from what I've seen so far.

Yep, none of them are tearing it up.

Rising star noms have gone to a third year and a second year player in the first couple of rounds.

Nick Watson just missed the lot from point-black range. Nice timing here.

They're still streets ahead of us. Would need something freakish to happen (e.g. us being super accurate, them not) like Collingwood 2022 to win. Also watching Hawthorn now, and bits of North, we aren't getting off the bottom 2.

Former GWS Tanner Bruhn or should I say the Vic's other Academy side. Geelong will never have to rebuild. Tanner looks like a star. Ridiculous how much of an advantage Vic sides get with GWS and GC being there talent recruiting pool. Who will they get from them next year I wonder.

Home games we're a chance , seems about it .
Mate they beat us by over 100 at home in 2022. Pretty comfortable win at Optus last year too when I was there (my first game at Optus on a visit back home) Sure its a long time ago, but they'd be decided favourites vs us at home. Would live to pinch it but theyd have to be off.

Dver since that comeback win in late 2021 vs the Tiges everything has gone to sh*t. Feels like some sort of curse.
