GWS are looking so much like a fair weather side at the moment.

Got some injuries of course but too much talent to be missing kicks inside 50 as regularly as they have.

Whitfield is more track and field athlete than footballer.

Big test for the coach (Kingsley). Rode the wave of momentum in the second half of last year, but the expectations were pretty clear heading into this season and so far, they have failed to meet them by a fair way.

He missed out of a lot of jobs… Way too early to say we can see why, but he and the team need a major lift.

Carlton's ball movement is some of the most stagnant I've seen. They're more reliant on stoppage wins and contested marking forward of centre than most other competitive sides in recent years. It's a feature of their list.
GWS outdoing even Carlton in the stagnancy stakes today. Don't know what happened to the orange tsunami.

I know conditions were far from perfect but I've never seen a more disinterested team. At times from the kick in (and there were plenty of those) the behind the goal shot showed basically zero movement. A couple of GWS players wandering a bit but absolutely no-one running to space (or running at all tbh), or getting up a jog, or even talking to each other. Basically 15 odd players from half back to the centre line just standing around.

Can someone refresh my memory. I was a fan of Sharp and wanted him, but was he always destined for Freo? Why didn’t we get a look in?

Was only interested in joining Fremay

The more pertinent question is why Gold Coast didn’t play him more than they did

Richmond are on catch up mode trying to chase down Norfs percentage. Here's to Norf throwing away pick one two years in a row by winning a meaningless round 24 dead rubber in Tassie.
