It's interesting how difficult the ball can be to kick. With the pointy ends it feels, theoretically, it's easier to get it to "spiral" but it's quite hard.

A lot of drop punt kicks (yanks call them ‘end over end’) now used in the game…primarily from all the Aussie punters over last decade. Think most of Mason’s kicks were drop punts
