Needed to be at least 1 mil. That's barely a slap on the wrist.$100K fine for Poort, $50k only out of the soft cap is a bit of a joke.

The afl can't just make it up as they go all of a sudden?I heard it was the maximum Port could be fined under the charge that was laid against them, I think Whateley said it on 360 early in the week.

Little Libba gave it a 7/10Touk is just that good.
Esp since the AFL will distribute 16m (quoted from another forum) to Port.$100K fine for Poort, $50k only out of the soft cap is a bit of a joke.

Based on the conversation of what WCE would have to pay if they got rid of Simpson the tax is 100% of the amount going over. In this case if it puts Port $50k over, they pay $50k tax.Does anyone know what the tax is for going over the soft cap? Say they were right on the limit and 50k puts them over the top could it in theory get compounded?
2 quick ones for the “draft bust”

Money doesn't make a difference to clubs. Don't port get subsidized by the AFL? So it's effectively the AFL paying the fine (or clubs like us/WC/Richmond/Pies etc).Say $200k with a 3rd round draft pick would probably pass the pub test but yeah, it's not a real deterrent esp leading into finals.
