I know this is off topic, but this reminds me of when I was growing up (a long time ago), and how my grandparents used to grow everything themselves. They grew veggies, had fruit trees and a herb garden. The lunches and dinners were amazing, and the home made apple pie with fresh whipped cream... I just don't think people today have any idea what they're missing out on.

Back to real milk... it came in bottles back then with foil lids. And we'd get a spoon to eat the cream from the top of the bottle. The food (and milk) back then was definitely better.

Get Gippsland Jersey Milk if you can, it is the greatest. Sungold do one that's pretty good also, seems scarcely available. Safeways are stocking a jersey milk ATM, Caldermeade Farm jersey milk.

I spent a fair bit of time on a mates farm growing up coz I really didn't get on with my parents
We used to milk the cow, seperate the milk and have porridge with real cream(you cannot describe how good this did was) and brown sugar
I just can't eat porridge anymore it just tastes crap
