I spent a fair bit of time on a mates farm growing up coz I really didn't get on with my parents
We used to milk the cow, seperate the milk and have porridge with real cream(you cannot describe how good this did was) and brown sugar
I just can't eat porridge anymore it just tastes crap

Had a similar experience spending a bit of time on a dairy farm in NZ as a kid, milk was never the same again after that.

Interesting list, worth listening to the podcast too. Joel Selwood at 24 shows you how good the list is.
Not sure I would have Lachie Neale so high.
No mention of Jono Brown (felt like he was a top 5 player in the comp 2004-8…maybe it was because he was BOG whenever he played us). Dane Swan and Nat Fyfe probably unlucky too (again 2 guys who had 4-5 year stretch as a top 5 player in the comp)

Pendles is above Goodes and Bont IMO.

No J. Brown is laughable.
Goodes should be higher if anything. For me (top 10):

1. Ablett jr
2. Franklin
3. Goodes
4. Fyfe
5. Judd
6. Pendlebury
7. Martin
8. Cox
9. N Riewoldt
10. Bartel

Martin for me is top three.

But I put a high emphasis on finals performance.
I put consistency higher. Everyone above him were far more consistent and good finals performers in any case. Martin's bad games were much, much worse than all of my top 10

You have Fyfe at four.

He has had some shockers and at the worst possible time as well.

When were Martins bad games? Never in the finals.

I don't really mind if he mailed in some games during the home and away season.

Fyfe had a bad GF against Hawthorne, true. Even so he averaged 24.7 disposals, 5.5 clearances and kicked 7 goals in 11 finals despite that. A bad GF doesn't mean that all the others are irrelevant, when he was very good in them.

You can reward finals above consistency. That's fine. I prefer to rank guys who show up and play well the vast majority of the time.

List is a dogs breakfast.

Sam Mitchell and Cripps above Selwood?

No Hodge?
