Yes. Really frustrating supporting them. Jerry and son think they are some sort of gurus when in fact they are a pair of idiots. Side has been a major joke since they fired Jimmy Johnson who built and coached the 93/94 Super Bowl winning side and it was all over Jerry getting his nose out of joint when Johnson wanted him to keep his nose out of the football department. We won again in 96 under Switzer with a lot of the list still there and that actually made it worse as Barry was a Jerry yes man so Jerry thought he was some sort of guru. Been down hill since then.

Jerry just never wanted to move with the times, unfortunately the times have now moved Jerry. Dallas are just playing the game a different way to most of the other teams in the league and their way is not better. I have even less hope for the Cowboys turning it around than Essendon though because NFL teams are set up as personal fiefdoms unlike AFL clubs where members do have some say.

Sucks for us though ant555, going back to back between Bombers and Cowboys seasons the last 20 years has to be one of the cruellest curses known to man.

Has been a bit cruel but thankfully my Penrith Panthers have come to the party and eased the pain

I agree with the Cowboys. Until Jerry and sons sell them we will be the same and that is not going to happen as the franchise is a license to print money and the most valuable team in the league. Despite the last 29 years of coming up short the franchise was valued at 10 billion dollars last year. I am with you. Essendon have more chance of winning a flag in the next 5 years than the Jerry "Magoo" Jones Cowboys.

I honestly believe they could be good if they hired a coach that came in and took control (like a Belichick) and Jerry stepped back.

But it would make him miserable because it wouldn't be his success.
It's the ultimate example of pure ego.
So he runs it like a theme park, keeps the team in the news by leaking to the media and we all just watch the slow death spiral.

Also have tied themselves to a limited QB. They are stuck in purgatory.

Don’t know where else to post this and I’ve sat on it for a while because it’s pretty much old news. I talked to the Stringer camp and he did want to stay and Brad wanted him to stay. I can confirm from their side that he wanted to secure a second year and Brad really wanted him to stay. The other thing I can confirm is that the roaming Brian incident did change the ball game when I come to trade time. According to the Stringer camp Collingwood and Sydney definitely had interest in him up to that point. The other thing to set the record straight is that Nick Hind only knew this guy because of Jake. It’s old news but the thing gets me is the timing? It definitely put his value down but at the end of the day I was happy with Rosa’s drafting strategy.
