Yeah, but their hands were kind of tied because no WAFL teams wanted to align with them. In a perfect world both clubs would have stand alone WAFL teams but it just isn't feasible when the AFL side is full of young players and/or have a heap of injuries.

Considering west coast have their home ground for training facilities.

Because its up to the members not the WAFC to decide being a member myself i would rather fold than align with an AFl club especially one i detest, sure we haven’t won a flag since 77 nor had Melbourne for 50 odd years.
Perth have a new coach in Peter German, great assistants and a three year plan it’s a very young side if that doesn’t work then fold the club.

I mean yeah we could merge with WC and win a flag wouldn’t mean nothing to me.

Did ok up to 3qtr time. They were dominating the middle at one stage. They will be a formidable opponent.
