I’m actually surprisingly bullish on Hawthorns season. I like the way Mitchell has them playing. They’re the closest in style to Collingwood. I think a lot of teams will still struggle with the blitzkrieg style this year.
I hope we’re not one of them.

The old Hawks style of dominant marking half back line setting up for rebound might be the way the league counters that fast ball style.

The All Australian half back line might be picked by which defensive unit has the best midfielders applying pressure, forcing that long kick.

Cox, Ryan, Chapman, Young could be our most valuable players intercept marking.

Just too young. Ward and Mackenzie and others will give a good yelp the first month before falling off a cliff as they tire close to the bye.

I like the list medium to long term though, particularly the midfield where I think Mackenzie is going to be special

You wonder of the timing of the Ed
Sheeran gig at the craypot?
Let’s hope that the ground is sorted.
You’d hate to see injuries, and they have learned from the past.

This is probably what the Worst was referring to. It probably means, with Zuhaar out too that Wet Toast are maybe slight favourites (??). But this also means that no McKay when we face them in Round 2. And then the "conspiracy" bit - the fact that he won't be eligible to play his 'twin brother' in Round 4, extending an 8 year stretch they've never matched up. I mean.....c'mon! It's clearly the same player!

I take my potato comments back. McKay is gun and was easily their best vs us last year.
we know it was said in jest mate. Was still funny, probably poor taste for the west to report it in the manner they did, what we say in banter on BF is not put out in actual print for monetary purposes. Bad luck for the big fella

Corr dealing with a calf issue too. North gonna be battling hard early in the year

Can imagine lots of players walking around gingerly

Sounds like you're insulting Amiss.
Amiss is great, but he was a skinny first year with barley one pre season under his belt. Its embarissing that a guy with 8 seasons, 100 games and 20 kilos on him could be outmuscled like that.
