I post what I see. When I see good in the club, I post accordingly. The just checked the last posts I made on BF, unsurprisingly most of them aren't Freo related in the off season, the few that are are all praiseworthy of players and our drafting team. When I see s**t in the club, I post accordingly.

How long have you been a supporter? I've seen it all from day one, and I can tell you there has been a helluva lot more s**t then good. And that includes last season, it was s**t, the coach is a blancmange and unless there is some major turnaround this year, every day we keep him is a day of lost opportunity. Think I am an eagles troll not a supporter for saying that - report me to the mods, they can check IP addresses etc and make a determination.
The hard truth is the eagles are a better club than us. Four flags to zip. I get no pleasure out of it, it burns me, but I think it's laughable watching people that support Freo getting so much joy out of the eagles being s**t. Until we win one we're the joke, not them.
You're a good poster piggy, but you're way off the mark here.
I don’t think you’re a West Coast supporter. In fact I’m pretty certain you’re a long-time poster on here that has made plenty of good contributions over the years. I was just spinning out about you seemingly getting your noise out of joint about the Hewitt/Gossage comment. As Snuff has already pointed out, what Gossage said left Duff speechless. They had been talking about the 4 players in the running for the Rising Star and in the context of that discussion the inference was that Hewitt would/could be better than Amiss.

To answer your question about how long I’ve supported Freo - I was 11 years old in round 1 1995 and my South Fremantle - mad father bought me the full kit to wear during our first game against Richmond. I was at the WACA for our first ever home win a few weeks later and I ate a lot of Chicken Treat at Subiaco Oval growing up. I’ve been on the ride since day 0 as well. Freo games are still the highlight of my weeks - regardless of whether we win or lose I try look for the positives. It’s how we stay sane as Freo supporters.

Similar story
Father mad Souths fan. I was in my early teens when Freo started and we got foundation membership.

If I sit around and stew over every mistake the club has made it would be quite unpleasant. I'd rather stay positive and enjoy life.

Well, there's a problem. Too many Southerners.
there is a bloke in a mates group.
most are Freo supporters & he is as well, but we just never clicked.
you probably have a similar person.
nothing wrong with them, but you both push each other's buttons.
he supports the sharks.
when he started quoting flags won, i asked him which WA AFL team bragged about past flags.
i only had to do that once.

Also a life long south’s supporter, ariived in WA in 1979 at the tender age of 3 from NZ, my father grew up playing rugby but was an instant convert to Aussie rules and became a south’s supporter as we lived in south freo at the time.
Before we had a team I dreamt of how good a Freo team could be. At the time the AFL was littered with ex south’s players and I thought it was inevitable most would want to return to play for the new freo team (there were also a few Easts players knocking about as well. Talk about being naive) anyway, 30 years later and we are still waiting and hoping for that elusive premiership.

PS I can 1 up you, happened to be in Melbourne for a concert (drove across in a Datsun sunny) and managed to be at the western oval for freo’s first ever win against Fitzroy round 3 1995!

Well at least you're backpedalling on your accusation I am a troll.
In terms of the Gossage stuff, I didn't mention Gossage cause as I have already said multiple times I don't care what he says. I said Hewett would be a good player cause I think he looks good. I have no idea if he will turn out to be the best player of his draft year, neither does Gossage and neither do any of you. No one thought Fyfe would be the best player from his draft year at the end of his first season.
I missed our first win at the WACA, I was working, so you definitely have one up on me there.

This guy is really grating me recently with his takes. Stay in America all year round Kane if it’s that much better.

Wants to ban long contracts so that he has more to talk about during the off season. Forgets altogether about whether increased player movement is good for a club or not. What an arse.

Without McStay? He’s a big loss. Let’s be honest, Frampton or Johnson can’t replace him and due to Freo having their future first rounder attached to the pies I hope they go cold this year.

So do I

They still have a cracking midfield

Is that sorted by “retention rating”
Yeah, I.e., whether the team retained possession from the kick, or if it was turned over. Its also weighted for kick difficulty, so players who take more difficult kicks or kicks in contested situations aren't graded as harshly as a bare kicking efficiency stat. It's the best measurement of whether a player is a good kick or not. It's also for players with at least 50 kicks in the season to get rid of outliers.
