Seeing how impotent our forward line is makes me wonder how much was Ross and how much is the personnel involved?

It's a sensitive subject around here, but Tabs for example, does seem to either lead to the pocket or stand still and motion for guys to kick the ball 90m into the square every time I see him live. Even when there's perfectly good grass available 40m out straight in front.

saints don’t have any key forwards currently…they have so many first teamers out and have just kicked over 100.

years ago, Brian Needle, who was East Freo full back in the the late 70’s coached North Freo Amateurs.

he would literally go stark raving berserk, destroying water buckets etc if the forwards played like our guys do…

if you didn’t lead at the ball carrier and create separate leads you were in serious danger….

I think of that a lot whenever I watch any of our forwards not named Pavlich or Modra
