That was a ****ing disgraceful call from Hitler Youth. That is never deliberate but Collingwood have gotten a massive ride tonight so it is no surprise it was given.

The deliberate rule is that you must show intent to keep the ball in play - so Dale gets penalised for coming across and knocking the ball away so it doesn't go into the hands of a Collingwood player running onto goal...but then a minute later Darcy Cameron soccers it out in the forward pocket because he's too big and slow and buggered to try and bend over and pick it up.

If they're gonna rule in the spirit of intent and punish accidental out of bounds then they should pay one even if it is in the attacking team's forward pocket. Sidebottom's goal came from that stoppage.

I never feel bad for the Dogs being on the wrong side of a FK count after that bullshit against us all those years ago. But, that was some of the most blatant cheating from the umps I have ever seen. Collingwood are a big Vico team so you won't hear any clowns in the media call it out, though.

Free kicks 32-14 Collingwood's way...
About time the Dogs got a free kick count against them, the 2016 premiership was gifted to them by the umps.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the umpire review. Mostly just to see if it even gets mentioned. If it wasn't intentional then all 4 umps should be in the VFL next week.

Dogs might be better than handy if they get everyone back fit and firing though.

I imagine it would be very similar to this meeting I went to with theses BHP safety nobs …. the high fives and good jobs for this campaigner who caught some poor ****er without his safety glasses or some shit was stomach turning

Feels like every other team has 6 hard running small forwards… and we have 1

Who is it? Seriously cause I can’t think of even one.

That was a good game ruined by disgraceful umpiring. Some teams & particular players (Daicos) are just treated differently. Daicos can legit launch himself into a tackle & raise his arms so his hair gets touched and then look at the umpires sternly & they just hand it to him. It’s unbelievable.

Cripps was straight out throwing the ball last night every time & the one time they called it he stood there shaking his head and mouthing off. The dissent rule has just vanished.

I don’t know why they can’t settle on the rules & just work on keeping it simple & consistent.
We were being called play on for pretty much every single kick in our back line last week regardless of distance and this week that rule has just stopped being enforced. It’s hopeless.

These things always trigger my memory of that Carlton game where Tabs was pinged for deliberate in the dying seconds.

And we all know what happened next.
