Anyone watching American Gods?

Watched the first 3 eps, don't know what to make of it yet.
Yeah I loved the book and have been looking forward to the series, I think they've done an incredible job to make it work, and they've added enough extra narratives into it, that despite knowing the source material, I'm still left guessing. Recommend reading the book if you haven't.

I stopped watching after 4 eps, only because of laziness. Will probably binge watch the rest, looks like it was just heating up.

Don't mind the US Ninja Warrior.

Predictably the Australian version takes an ok original show and transforms it with execrable commentary.

It's great listening to Rebecca Maddern, Freddie Flintoff and some Channel 9 stooge critique the finer points of the competitor's technique and attitude.

Australian Ninja Warrior is the shittest Ninja - the American course is hardcore by its standards. Nothing beats the Japs and their impossible courses that one in 30 can negotiate - the hysterical crowd is horrible and Beck - mate this will do your reputation no good when the Footy Show goes down the S bend where it belongs

The ads were enough to say "no".

Same as "Yummy Mummys".

Next on my to read list. Read good reviews. Enjoying the series. I hate the wife. She just really rubs me the wrong way.

Watched the 'stanford prison experiment' a month ago. Have been told to read 'the lucifer effect'.

Sounds like they heard the legend of Ukifune Jinnai and got a little confused.

Australian Ninja was on the TV at my gym last night and one of the contestants was the "Barefoot Warrior". They went into a lengthy back story about how he had issues with his feet as a kid so he decided to stop wearing shoes. This was accompanied by vision of him hiking across rocks, climbing a snow covered mountain etc, all without shoes. It then cut to him on the starting line of the obstacle course wearing what appeared to be shoes. Just as he was about to start, Bec Madden says "The Barefoot Warrior is wearing shoes for health and safety reasons".

That's some hardcore sh*t right there.

Find the doco series 'The Defiant Ones'.

Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine.

If you love the past 40 years of music this is a must.

Gaso scores it... 5 stars.

His work with Iggy Azalea is a highlight.
