Pretty ambiguous really, enough loose ends and possibilities for a second series,
my suggestion : Naz to shank Freddy and become top dog

Hmmm. Had the thought that it was a self contained storyline.

I imagined the dismissal scene was similar to Scotts and Boomers?

Thoughts on the finale of 'The Night Of '?

You might need to use spoiler tags.

Loved it but missus Toes went off halfway through it when it looked like they'd ended the show, when suddenly an ad appeared, with nothing resolved, before it resumed and all was back to normal in Casa Toes. Loved the series and agree that a second series could be in the pipeworks.

Spoiler tags added above as at last check scottywiper was only a couple of episodes into the series the other night.

Sorry, I wouldn't know how to use a spoiler tag if my life depended on it. I'll choose my words carefully though. Twinkletoes feel free to apply if you deem necessary.

Let's just say I was very dissatisfied about half way through the finale and very satisfied at the end.

Overall, the show meandered along a bit too much for my liking. There was too much of a contrast between the brilliant first episode and the rest. It needed a little less talk and a little more action. Maybe they tried to cram too much into the small number of episodes they had.

That said, I did look forward to it each Sunday night - overall rating: 7/10.

What say you, Gaso?

For future reference:

[ spoiler] [ /spoiler] without the spaces.

Hi Mr. Reliable! Bruce Willis was a ghost the whole time.

When does it pick up?

There is a lot of soppyness but as the rap career picks up it gets really good

But I am a sucker for any music related show/film

Mr Robot, Stranger things, The night of, Bosch, Vinyl,

Gonna have a look at: The Get Down & Bloodline

BoJack Horseman.

^ Very cool show.

Right now....

- Enjoying the hell out of 'Pancake Mountain'. (DVD's from eBay, don't think it's ever had a run in Australia.) Kick-ass show with awesome music guests.
- Also on DVD, just finished watching every ep of classic 60's show, 'The Prisoner'.
- Liking 'The Night Of'. Turturro is such a gun actor.
- 'Vice Principals' off to a pretty decent start.
- For some unknown reason, I'm a fan of 'Alone'. Find it very meditative.
- And for those of us who appreciate the highbrow fare that is MTV reality shows, nice to see 'Ex On The Beach' reclaim its title as the biggest piece of trash on television.

Im not a Survivor fan but this Aussie version with LaPaglia hosting is better than the American version because the host stirs the pot better than Probst.

With regards to reality shows, im really into Alone on Foxtel (A&E, Tuesday 8.30). Its a cracking show.

Not on at present but The Last Alaskans is probably the best filmed tv show i have seen. The way they capture the feel of this remote place is brilliant. Probably the most real "Lifestyle" show ive ever seen.
