Gladiator 2 getting mixed reviews. People are either loving or hating it.

My folks dropped by yesterday and I was greeted by “we just saw the worst movie ever made!”

“Attack of the killer tomatoes?” I replied.

“Gladiator 2. Don’t waste your money” they said.

Purely based on that I’ll wait until it hits one of the tv services.

Loved it, particularly the old man. He was really looking forward to this and couldn’t have been more disappointed with the result.

But 3LO in the mornings is officially dead to me now as apparently, Murphy from Footscray is going to be the host in that timeslot.

I was told similar things by those that loved the Gladiator movie.

Movie industry is lazy with ideas, forced to adhere to quotas and see exploiting cinema fans nostalgia as a financial opportunity......rather than just making something great.

Watched “Say nothing” on Disney Plus about the Troubles and in particular Gerry Adams role

Not sure on where I stand with Gerry. There are two definite camps. He’s off to civil court in 2026 for London Bombings. With a lower standard of proof…who knows

I read the book a few years ago. Very good. Didn’t
know that it was made into a film. I’ll watch it now.

hopefully the show does the book justice.

The Ra were far from perfect, did some terrible things, but they were fighting against a foreign power taking control of their country.
