In fact I watched all his movies up to twin peaks which I've never seen. The only one I've seen since is Mullholland Dv but I was drunk and can't remember it.

Shee-it, I haven't watched Lynch since I was in my undergraduate morning stoner period, back in the mid-noughties.

The only thing I remember in good detail of his is Twin Peaks. Because it predated that period of my life.

I can recall incredibly vaguely watching Eraserhead, Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive, but not with any great recollection.

Guess its time to flick one on and discover what lays in the deep forgotten depths of my hippocampus.

I just posted on the M&E board similar thoughts about Blue Velvet…it shocked me that evil could be right in front of us as an innocent 20 year old

Finished American Primeval and it was brilliant. Totally enjoyed it despite how grim it was.

The Crow Girl, an English crime 6 parter on Paramount plus, solid cast, some pretty dark subject matter, but just as things start to get interesting, the credit's of ep 6 start with To be continued, hope so, 7.5/10

We needed something lighter after American Primeval and watched 4 episodes of Road Trip on Paramount

Get past the first 20 minutes of cringe and it picks up

I’m about a third of the way through reading, or rather listening to The Reformatory by Tananrive Due and I’m absolutely hooked.

It’s historical fiction/horror.

Can see why the reviews are so good.

Can not recommend this book enough. I was put off because of the horror/fantasy element of it, but honestly it’s incredible.

It’s such a good book. I wasn’t sold when I read the blurb, but it works. It’s not an easy read, set in the Jim Crow south, there’s a feeling of hopelessness I got when reading and then there’s the supernatural element… which I think really adds to the general feeling of the environment down there. One of the best works of fiction I’ve listened to and I have listened to 154 books since 2023

Mostly non fiction, but a lot of fiction in there.

It’s funny because mrs Keating didn’t want her to watch it but I talked her into letting her, next thing I know they’re watching it together lol.

I noticed Ben Shelton in his Tennis presser take a whack at I am guessing Nine (the broadcaster) and the churlish interviews and commentary this year

Anyone else been watching much.

It definitely was has a cringe factor at times outside of Courier, Woody and JMac
