Re: North Central Football League

Yeah wont matter if hes brings back a full bus load of players, whyche will still battle. Tinkle winkle is as soft a butter! Those pardella's catn kick over jam tins either, dont even go the ball! disgraces to whyche...

Re: North Central Football League

another great week in th ncfl this week...most people readya dn refreshed after the bye...very quite this close to the w/e on here
tips from the freak

Birchip Vs Whyche: the bulls too strong for the inexperienced dees who will get a bit of a reality check after going well against wedderburn....scrambler and lee to be on top in the middle
bulls by 8 goals

Boort Vs Wedderburn: tight and tough first quarter/half, opening up after half time. Key players definately the conversion of the forwards, perryman/stenhouse. boort to share the load and if stenhouse is contained at all the pies to win by 3 goals.

Donald Vs Starnaud: the saints should be able to match donald around the groound and have a good forward settup. if the play with the intensity and determination that saw them get over boort the will account for donald.
saints by 5 goals

Re: North Central Football League

these blokes wouldnt be previous wnfc players noonan, cockfield and martin would it? thought they were up there for the year, would certainly add to wyche's midfield if they arrived back at the den

Re: North Central Football League

Heard a rumour tonight at training in wyche....... Feeny Medalist James Coatsworth could be returning to the demons den with in the month.........

has any one got the star quality to stop the poo

Well he certainly wont be returning outside this month as tickets close on June 30.

Even if he comes back i think it will be to little to late to make the finals by then.

But will be good to have him back for the following year if your a Dees man!

I dont think he ever got cleared away so all he will have to do is re-register. Im not sure that you get cleared up to qld leagues?

1 out of 3 your a winner

Re: North Central Football League

Couple of good games this week. I think the Wedderburn-Boort game is going to be fairly close. Both sides have some good players that require stopping. Will be interesting to see who gets the role of stopping C.Rutley and also Stenhouse at Wedderburn's end. I think Wedderburn will win by under 2 goals.

Donald-St Arnaud is another interesting one. The Saints are obviously up and flying after beating Boort and could push Donald who are pretty down at the moment. I'm tipping the Royals though. Few too many guys who will get the job done.

Wyche were gallant against the Redbacks last week but won't be strong enough to beat Birchip. Birchip will win that by 14 goals.

ni out of 3 your even a bigger winner;) ;)

Re: North Central Football League

My Tips for this week

Birchip over Wyche - 5 goals - Birchip too good, after Cliff Ryan and the likes had a nice week off (even though he shoulda played) Wyche on the way back!
Wedderburn over Boort - 1 goal - Boort looking to bounce back, but Stenhouse/Pearce/Barnes/DeAraugo etc too good Match of the Round... Stenhouse 6, Perryman 4
St Arnaud over Donald - 6 Goals - Got a very handy Forward set up, the midfielders getting it right! Expect the Boys to come out firing...Id say there will be a handy breeze (its that sort of weather) Matchup of the game - D Needs vs R Funcke ... Donald will miss the Services of Fraser... Solyom to get 7, Jones 4, Bend It 1 :p

You are better than those other two

Re: North Central Football League

Saying sides are good in the wet means they are sh!t normally, but the wet conditions drag the opposistion down to their level. The team hardest at it in wet and windy conditions win. St A v Boort was a prime example. The running recieving sides like boort and wederburn will always struggle in those conditions, imo.

what are you saying ?????

that St Arnaud are crap:cool:

Re: North Central Football League

Wyche Vs Birchip: big training session at the "Guiness Book Of Records" record holding ground mid-week (Campbells Creek) will inspire Wyche to a close win over Watchem at home, 17 points, Tinkler to get the young Wyche backline working well again, solid.
Hot Tip: Boe Bish never to wear a skivy to training again!

Boort Vs Wedderburn: Boort should have a large crowd in for their Black and White Ball (that's this week, right?), the centrelines most definitely to have the toughest job all day, no sheep dogs this week. Boort to sneak home in a close one and have a blinding night, Stenhouse back from "injury" to get injured and miss five, prolly kick 10 before he gets injured though.
Hot Tip: Boort players to engage in sexual relations with each other and animals at approximately 7.30pm (given the B&W Ball is on... actually, prolly will happen anyway).

Donald Vs St Arnaud: St Arnaud coming along nicely at the end of the first round of "we've played everyone, how bout you?", Donald still s.t.ruggling to find their feet. Solyom to have a day out, Needs and Funcke match up of the round, both to have zero possessions (Funcke to be captivated by Needs' interleague stories).
Hot Tip: St Arnaud sports club to do its highest turnover in history as the Sainters head back to celebrate MOR's recent acquisition of bigfooty.com

Charlton: everyones a winner on bye weekend - few beers at the pub, coupla mystery bets on the dogs and trots, maybe throw a line in here and there, possibly make it to Wyche to see a repeat of the Campbells Creek score line of 100.34.634 to "doesn't really matter" (who must have actually turned up that day) 3.0.18... at least they kicked straight!
Hot Tip: if you're down by 60 odd goals at 3/4 time, get in early and go and ask the opposition full forward if he'll swap jumpers with you at the end of the game... if he says yes, ask for an autograph too.

not bad you are as good as mor:cool:

Re: North Central Football League

They generally are, however i still feel Birchip will be too strong... They (along with Charlton) would be probably the side in the comp that keeps the pressure on the most. They discover, and take advantage of the opposition Flaws, generally very easily

the little bitch was right mor;) ;) ;)

Re: North Central Football League

Wedderburn by 10pts
St. Arnaud by 8pts
Birchip by 35pts

I love seeing tne underdog win and I reckon wychie will give Birchip a run for there money but wont have enough legs to get up

wrong son you should have gone with the under dogand you would have braggig rights;) ;)

Re: North Central Football League

Looks like its going to be a big week of footy in ncfl. Some pretty big clash's coming up.
This week should show if St/A's win against Boort was a fluke or if they have turned a corner in their season, also big game for Donald. They need to regain some respect and would be thinking that this weekend is a big chance to have their second win for the year.
Boort coming up against Wedderburn should prove to be a great game. Boort coming off the back of a loss that they probably should have won will be out to prove themselves, but i doubt Wedderburn are going to let them do it easily.
Wyche/Narra will be trying to notch up their second win for the year, coming up against Birchip/Watchem. Will be a tough game with a lot of rivalry between the two sides over the years should prove to be a great game also.

Wont be much in any of these games. Looking at the way the last few weeks of footy have gone all of these games could go either way.

bloody fence sitter bitch:cool:

Re: North Central Football League

The mighty demons turned it on for a good sized crowd today at the demons den. the G-unit carved up the midfield all day, after giving Robbie Lee a quick back hander in the second quater the ginger ninja took control in the middle. Jimmy Scambler played a good solid game for the bulls. Rick Allan also played well in the guts and across the half forward line. Pigglet Pardella wasnt a stand out but put in a very good game and kicked a good goal for a young bloke that doesnt go at ball and cant kick over a jam tin. The Two Whites and a Butcher Were very consistant in the ruck all day. Josh also played well up forward. Matty tinkler battled hard all day and offered a lot of drive out of deffence in the later stage of the game. Cliff Ryan put in a solid performance kicking 7 majors, but this didnt stop the young dees as they slammed on 6 goals in the final term to seal the demons second victory but the big story was deffintly off the feild with old Tige Allan losing a bit of a bet he had with the Hawk and will sample his first Jagger Bomb the next time were all in the Royal Mail. The demons have the week off to hit the track hard and get ready to take on Charlton, the demons have a few faces to come back into the fold in J.Grylls, W.Howson, D.Crawford and T.Rumbold. If the Demons can continue to play the same brand of footballthey are sure to have a few more good wins like todays.

Re: North Central Football League

This weeks NCFL games.

Boort v Savs - After the defeat to the hands of the Saints 2 weeks ago the Boort boys will be no doubt firing. There will be a massive crowd in attendance, as Boort have their annual Black and White Ball following the game in what is shaping up as a great night! The Savs have been on fire lately but I am certain the magpies will come away with a win. They may even be inspired by the return of prodigal son David Armfield??!!
Result: Black and White Army by 3 goals
Prediction: Another brilliant performance by Gooding in the ruck. Adam Nichol named best for Boort. Benaim to be sent off.

Birchip v Wyche - Wyche have been playing some great games of late taking the Savs to the last minutes of the game not long ago. I still think Birchip will win, however I won't be surprised if I hear that Wyche have put up another good fight!
Result: Bulls by 3 goals.
Prediction: Coffey best on ground.

Donald v St Arnaud - This will be a close game. Apparently the saints add a few more strings to their bow this week with a couple of handy inclusions. They will need them to come close to the Royals who should win if they are on song.
Result: A draw.
Prediction: Brad Michael to cement his spot in the Donald 1's.

Cheers.

your the winner:cool:
