Hey Burner is the Stien Train staying with the Savs next year, He'd be a grand a game player now wouldn’t he, is it the third league his kicked the magic 100 in??? Would be getting offers from everyone you'd think.

Think its the first time he's kicked 100 trucker. Cliff Ryan kicked 120, don't think he would have been on 1k at Birchip, though Wedderburn could well be inclined to pay inflated prices...

Can you confirm the following departures i heard heading down my way next season:
Brearly Wilson Dowley-Springbank

Big loss for the saints, 1 of my mates is up there i asked him he said he wasn't sure but would be fuming if they jumped ship. He thought they might be on the move after disgracing themselves presentation night, any truth in that?

Dunnstown along with springbank are also said to be in the running to secure the boys, which suggests that they have most likely decided to leave st arnaud...

St. Arnaud biggest population and biggest problems. So many good kids but they never hang around. Latest recruiting news, Bryan Beckham to Bears Lagoon/Serpentine for $50 a game plus all the beer he can drink. Rejected Bears Lagoon/Serpentine couldn`t afford that much beer. More recruiting news later.

well, i hear there is quite a few new faces on the St Arnaud committee. Time will tell if they are worth anything but a cold pie on how many players are retained and recruited.

Great post uglyduckling33, f*#ckwit. local talent is rarely enough to win a flag, its the ability of your recruiting people that makes a difference. Our good young players have played seniors, our recruits haven't been good enough, our $$ problem is no bigger than anyone elses.

Andrew Jackson brother of Ben and Nick Jackson who played at Birchip this year, plays at Kalkee in the Horsham DFL, pretty handy small on baller/forward, bit of a jet. His Grandparents, Uncles and Cousins would all love to see him in the NCFL, but surely he could choose a better club then Birchip, I'm thinking something with a bit of Blue the a touch of Red up the top.

word has it a few boys from up north,Qld way, are heading south to a central Vic leauge. A few juniors went a couple of years ago searching for rewards as well.

obviously some one forgot to tell them that the zone system was extinguished years ago

Word on the street says the saints have signed all 15 players from this years side that where identified as "required" players to build towards improving in 08. Master of Roc may be able to shed some more light here.
