Allo plugged! where the President??
I am lead to believe that N-Hobart will inform AFL Tas Monday night that if they don't receive$$$ funding they will setting their sights on moving back to regional football. How many other clubs out there are working their backsides off and getting no where.

All AFL & Sponsorship $$ stays at the Argyle st empire. Some gets out to support 'some' clubs. A little goes to zone development. A lot goes into paying all the golfing buddies at the empire office. A fair bit would go into the elite. 18's & 16's & development squads.
The clubs were told they would get money if AFL was played in Hobart ( a hollow promise of course) as the get nothing much out of Hawthorn. The empire wont help clubs who wont crawl to AFLTas. So thats why NH have jacked up. TSL Crowd figures are apparently well down on 2010, that would include the 8480 at the first Glenorchy game.
The ship is sinking & they want to spend heaps on a new club at Kingston
If the club had a nice members pavillion / function centre like Nth Hobart or Glenorchy or Clarence then no problems, have meals, TV going inside in the warmth people then at least have the option. The parking at TCA is fine and easy to get to and from, its central, the surface whilst much maligned over the years is in great condition just has a hump (so what) and the view is a million dollar view, location fantastic. And AFL Tas want to kick the club out because of what again? depends on who you ask, which day it is etc. Maybe if they didn't get rid of the ressies there might be bigger crowds as all the people with disposable income that used to attend would still be there, now with colts only in many cases the kids just turn up and play then go again, parents drop off and don't stay. The whole TSL was ill concieved from the start. The AFL should face the music as well, fancy giving so much money to those peanuts at league headquarters, about the only one up there with any ability is Armstrong, bet he's embarrassed!
North need a good win against Hobat at the TCA on Sunday to have a chance of getting 4th or 5th spot.
Some interesting ins for the weekend. Daniel Fox has had an interrupted year with injuries. Really ruined his Mariners campaign. Expect him to have an impact. Schade was also named on the bench, so expecting him to get a run after being sidelined with illness for the last 2 games.
Some young talent in Hobarts side, so should be a good game.
If super Kenny Hall can play out the game he should steer his team home.
Sewed up 4th spot at the TCA yesterday. Too strong & too well coached for Hobart. Next week will be a good test. Playing Clarence who weren't very good against an improved Lauderdale team. Toss up for 5th spot between Glenorchy & Lauderdale, so next week will be very interesting.

Was impressed with North Hobart versus Hobart on Sunday.
Seem to be playing as a real team under Spaulding. A good blend of youth and experience with Hall, Street, Peterson leading the way with a good blend of 17-22 year olds playing their part.
A multi focal forward line with Dobosz, Gardham and Dell has the potential to stretch most backlines. Throw in Fox, Peterson and Muir and it gets very interesting.
While Launceston and Clarence are rightful favourites for the flag, there might be a few teams a bit concerned about North!!!!
Possible...My early thoughts are that we could be looking at a Launceston v North Hobart Grand final.
Possible...
Gotta get over Glenorchy in the first week of the finals first! Winner of that will flatten Burnie in the second week, and then likely get a crack at Clarence in the Prelim.
Going to take two very good wins to make a Grand Final, but possible.
Maybe we should take the $26 on offer for the flag with sportsbet.
Glenorchy have to beat Burnie yet... No reason why lauderdale can't beat Hobart easy and snatch 4th spot.
Where would the final be played if Lauderdale finished 4th? Bellerive?
TV coverage has to come into play with the schedule too...ABC contracted to cover a Saturday game and wont travel past Aurora Stadium. It appears that all southern finals will be played for Clarences benefit. Northern finals would be played at either Burnie, or Devonport, or at york Park, depending on the politics at the time

Burnie haven't beaten anybody of note all year, all their wins against the bottom four teams. If the draw was fair, and every side played each other once, Burnie wouldnt even be in the finals!!! I can't see them getting over Glenorchy at KGV, they'll get flogged by Clarence at Bellerive in the first week of finals and probably bundled out by Glenorchy or North Hobart in the second week despite it being held in the north.
Clarence v North has nothing riding on the outcome except pride & some momentum going into the finals. maybe some injured players will get a rest?
