Anybody notice that the winner of race 7 raced in Kangaroo colours with a kangaroo in the design.Commentator Rick mcintosh said the owner was a mad Kangaroo supporter then corrected himself and said North Melbourne.Horses name was Badda Bing

I own 3 racehorses that all race in the blue and white stripes , one will be racing this Saturday at Ipswich called Scoliera Street , get on it if its good or dead track.;)

Hehe. I think I know this horse. ;)

Used to be trained by David Brideoake down here in Victoria. My nephew (D.Schmitt) rode it once.

Out of Dolphin Street, IIRC.

Hmmm.....

Thats the one mate , struggled the Melbourne way of going , has thrived the Qld way of going , wont be a champion , but for $500 not gonna get the next Phar Lap , up to the distance he likes now and throw in the Blue and White stripes he cant lose.:D

Cheers mate , track looking like it will be heavy though , trained on the wet this morning and looked good so fingers crossed.

Should we still get on if the track is slow or heavy, rather than good or dead?

What a small world... I had a share in Scoliera Street. We sold him a few months back. We tried two trainers and he struggled, couldnt seem to find an extra gear in the straight. Big beautiful horse though.

I will be interested to see how he goes with the change of scenery. Good luck!

Yeah David had him for a little while, they were thinking about turning him into a jumper, but lacked speed between the jumps.

Prior to David he was with Greg Eurell for a few preps. Definately prefers the heavier track and has a huge stride, so is at his best out in front without the traffic around him.

Btw, for anyone keeping track (pun intended).....

Scoliera Street ended up getting backed into under $5 on the TAB last Saturday, but sadly finished an unlucky (read: t.o.a.b.) 4th place.
