I was almost in the Nostra camp on Amy Smith at halftime but she more than won me back in the second
Tess Craven dropped her loaf in that first quarter but sat in the hole on numerous occasions after
I love it when people respond under pressure

After the first quarter I don't think I saw Ponter at all. I think Shannon was on her for large periods, she is going to be hard to drop when Kearney returns.

Wright very solid. The whole defence was solid again. Adelaide had one more inside fifty and only had six shots.

I doubt it. Bres was a fixture when Emma was playing. Craven will move further up the ground I think and likely Shannon goes out as she was largely in to help deal with Gould from what I can gather.

She didn't break the tackling record, but 12 tackles and 9 clearances from Mia King to go with 24 disposals was epic tonight.

We shouldn’t overlook the plan and effort that Adelaide produced tonight. Our greatest achievement was withstanding them.

Huge tick for us to be able to handle a talented veteran team like Adelaide twice in a fortnight. And they threw the kitchen sink at us. We fear no team now but I won’t be upset if we don’t see them again this year.

Since that last minute debacle at the end of last season, we’ve completely turned the corner with icing games

Heaps to improve on through. Crows great pressure early had us second guessing.

It would be a massive gamble and history says, these moves rarely work. It's gutting to have the heart and soul of the club not there, but I will be surprised if Emma makes it back.

That first half from Adelaide is probably the best half of football any team has played against us this season and probably the best any team can play against us, and we were able to withstand the onslaught and give it back to them with Mayo and hot sauce. I'm not sure Brisbane or Hawthorn can apply that kind of pressure for a half let alone a full game, and I don't think any of the other finalists will get past the second week.

To get past Adelaide in the first week is huge and as long as we don't meet them again, I'm happy with our position heading into the final two weeks.

Nicole always has her attack on the ball and contest to fall back on. She’s an important component of our elite defence. I’d be ultra surprised if she gets dropped.

If she was a “test” this week, she’ll surely be right in two weeks. I don’t see it as a risk at all. Her leadership alone is a big aspect.
