North Melbourne Football Jumper Thread

Hey all,
I'm from the Footy Jumpers and Graphic Design board, and we discuss football jumpers whilst designing them as well. I think it would be good to have a thread dedicated to North Melbourne football jumpers. The purpose of this thread is to:
- Discuss North Melbourne jumpers
- Show pictures of what jumpers you own
- Show pictures of what you want to own
- Show a historical account of what North Melbourne have worn

I'll start it off.

Today I received Matt Campbell's 2011 Match-worn clash jumper.

THE North Melbourne boys hope they will be in the pink both on and off the ground next week. The Kangaroos are still trying to woo pop star Pink to the club when she arrives back in Melbourne for concerts next Tuesday and Wednesday.

And this special one-off jumper modelled by defender Josh Gibson - in pink, of course, with her name on the back - is a key part of the plan.

Gibson, an ardent fan of the singer, hopes to present the jumper to Pink if she accepts the club's invitation to visit.

``The boys at North are big fans of Pink and we think she'd fit in well at Arden St,'' Gibson said yesterday.

``Hopefully she likes the jumper and accepts th e invitation to learn about Aussie rules.''

And the Roo boys also have a couple of fluoro pink Sherrins they hope to kick around with her.

I thought the purpose of the pink jumpers was to raise Breast Cancer awareness.

Don't have any pictures on me at the moment but I have:

-2012 clash guernsey
-2009 clash guernsey (Argentina stripes) with number 7
-2003 home guernsey with autographs
-2002 away guernsey signed by every player on the list and framed
-North Melbourne team of the century jumper framed

Have a couple of other ones with Stevo and Carey's signatures on them, not sure of the year. Also have a Port Adelaide jumper that I bought for $2 at the op shop!

Yes they do. They have to in case anyone on the list plays.

Yeah they still print about 2 for every player. Great cheap collectors item IMO

Dont have pictures atm but i currently own:

-Wayne Carey Signed 1996 centenary home jumper
-Away Strip with David Kings 34, signed by most of the team (late 90's)
-Away Strip with Glenn Archers 11, signed by most of the team (late 90's)
-Clash Strip, no number signed by most of the team from ~2005

Yeah, I just got the signed Scotty Mc LS Boomer guernsey for $60. And an Urqs 2012 training shirt. Great value for money.

Ripper collector's items, and they are much more comfortable than the retail items. Nice gets.

I was a system error away from owning the signed match ball from Boomer's 300th so the signed guernsey is an acceptable second option.

My prize possession is my Ziebell game worn guernsey from his second game against the dogs in the emergency services game. Haven't had it framed yet but it will look a treat when it is. Also have a Wayne Schwass game worn guernsey framed that I picked up for $80 on eBay a few years back. Bargain.

I have countless other guernseys in the cupboard that the missus have firmly told to stay there until I buy her a house big enough for them all.
