Swallow, Ziebell and the 2011 version of Goldstein are all better/more proven "young" players then anyone on the Bullflog's list. They all attracted attention but wanted to stick around.

You are carried by dads army

Brian Lake - 30
Ryan Hargraves - 31
Daniel Cross - 29
Matthew Boyd - 30
Robert Murphy - 30
Daniel Giansiracusa - 30
Lindsey Gilibee - 31

Oh - the "2011 version" of the $7.5m man".

He would be great against the "1992 version" Scott Wynd.

What a ding-dong battle that would be!

Newsflash, flog.

Our young players have already gone past your soft as butter plodders!

As evidenced by the result two weeks back.

Oh - Brent Harvey at 34 - is your best player!

Who can't shake a tag and we've seen the result two weeks straight.

Wow all that experience and they're still shit. Not going to be a good time for dogs supporters when they're all retired in 2 years (who am I kidding, it's never been a good time for them).

Wow. Same old flogs here.

Swallow is the only youth player you have that is worth mentioning on form this year, Bastinac is a flat track bully. Goldstein is playing in the 2nds. Ziebell is he even playing? I can't even name another player under 25 at the Norflogs that may be capable of becoming a decent AFL footballer.

Even with your self proclaimed elite youth players you still couldn't beat us? I don't understand how we won if we have no one better then a ruckman that can't get a game in your seniors.

Lol, the 2011 version.

When we beat you last week:

Will Minson 34 hitouts > Todd Goldstein 27 hitouts
Mitch Wallis 28 possessions > Jack Ziebell 16 posessions
Ryan Griffen 31 possessions > Andrew Swallow 22 possessions

They all attracted attention but wanted to stick around.

Meaning they didn't get an offer, or if they did it was peanuts compared to the Ward & Scully deals.

Hargrave & Gilbee are 30, Boyd & Murphy are 29. Gilbee hasn't played a game all year. Gilbee will probably be the only one to go at the end of the year, we are a bit sparse in 23-28 year olds but by 2014 that will be a bit different.

Difference being one was only last year and the other was 20 years ago and long since retired. Goldstein will eventually get back to that type of form, he's only 23. You only have Wallis, liberatore and dahlhaus who are half decent. You are mostly carried by senior players that make it easier for the few youngsters around them as oppose to us who are must more reliant on the next generation. BTW, Wells is our most talented player, he is more dangerous these days then Harvey.

Hargrave & Gilbee will be 31 this year, Boyd & Murphy will be 30 this year. You are in a lot of trouble when dads army start retiring.

If by "more dangerous" you mean "won't hurt us so don't bother tagging him", then yes, yes he is.

Just another Norf downhill skier.

No wonder Ziebell and Bastinac are heading down that path.

You must have blocked out the contested marks from Cordy & Roughead, the 4 goals from Dickson, the 24 possessions from Veszpremi and 21 from Sherman.

No wonder you're struggling then

Actually I wouldn't be surprised to see Cross starting to be dropped this year with all the young mids coming through.

Do you even know anything about your own team? Lake is extremely important to your structure especially considering how fragile your back 6 is. Now that he has captured some form he has become one of your most important players of late. Cross is still a harden experienced inside midfielder that is important to you in winning centre clearances and contestant ball. Giansiracusa is one of your rare avenues for goal, and you could mount an argument either way for the other 2.

Of that North group you mentioned, only Harvey is 30 or over. The others are all in there 20's and with the exception of Petrie, will remain so for this entire year (and even that's post season.)

Just face it, you are very reliant on your old players who are all 30 + coached by a guy who never played AFL/VFL that you picked up on the cheap from the old fokes home.
