But not up to what? I agree Tutt isn't the player to take us forward as we make the big strides towards the end of the 66 games, but until then, we have to field a team and he tries his guts out. You won't see him bludging like Everitt.

Not up to AFL standard. Even your average disposers like an Armfield can hit targets when under no pressure. Tutt can't. He is basically devoid of any skill.

Combine Tutt's endeavor with Everitt's talent and you would have yourself a very good player.

I still remember Armfield lightning through traffic in the dying seconds and lasering a pass to a bloke who hit the ****ing post from the goal square.

Goddammit Fev, you were on 99 goals ffs.

Moral of the story? Theres no moral, this is real life. But you do not get to compare Armfield with something that needs to be trimmed. He's still got that match winner, heart on the ****ing sleeve feel about him.

Love the campaigner. You can go take a long walk off a short pier therubbernub :thumbsu:

Well done Northern Blues. I take it Coburg aren't very good. 2 wins at this stage is an improvement. It must have been a great day for footy with that refreshing breeze hurtling through. Jaksch 4, Silvagni 3 will have them pushing for promotion. Graham and Tutt had a day out. 16 goals was a super effort as well.

I couldn't make the game today. I saw a garden themed attraction today 'The Little Shop of Horrors'.

Please god no more Tutt. Just a waste of a game we could be giving someone else. The guy gives his all no doubt but just not good enough.
Got to reward consistent good play he's been in the best most weeks I believe ? He's still young with pace to burn if only he could clean up the skill errors and indecision . Still worth a go for the rest of this year if doesn't work out then that's it . After all this is a development year yes ? Not many knocking the senior selection door down he's one of them that is .

Jaksch had quite a few shots on goal in those highlights. Graham hit some centimetre perfect passes. SOS! Holy hell that was a long goal.

Thanks for posting that, very impressive.. Nicky G looks a standout from that and SOS just looks like an AFL player, i dont want to rush him in but he just looks ready.

Think his dad came into the team in 85? Anyone know how old he was and how many reserves games he played? Yeah I know, pointless comparison but I just want someone to answer the ******* question!!!
All i can find out is he debuted round 7 1985, so probably didn't play all that many rerves games in total. He was just shy of 18 when he played first senior game.
