It's a tough sell to pick him when there's A.Silvagni, O'Shea, JGM, Williamson, Jaksch and Macreadie in the mix.

O'Shea's the only tall to feature from the VFL list despite the extended squad.

The most likely links are on the 2nd post. Sportspulse's link hasn't been refreshed yet, so it might well be via YouTube given there was a test stream on the AFL Victoria channel today.
 
So the whole extended Sunday bench is named for Northern Bullants:

Charlie
Smedts
Palmer
Macreadie
Harry
Pickett
Williamson

So four to play for Carlton and three for NBs.

Bench for NBs has Kerr, Sumner, Fisher and Polson as Carlton of senior listed players and JGM, Korcheck, Gallucci and Sheehan as rookies, and five others.

So four off the bench in the starting 18 and another four will be the NBs bench, could be all of the senior and rookie listed players.

Apart from the 3 that miss out on Carlton's match with Essendon, the main interest for me is Cuningham, Graham, Dylbucks and Phillips. Are they kicking down doors to play Seniors? I think Jones, Boekhorst and Jaksch are coming from a lot further behind.of The NBs extended interchange, I still feel there must be a story about Sumner, main interest for me assuming they play is Fisher, Polson and Sheehan.
 
Some depth building now, a good win in round 1 coming hopefully. Amazing that a few of the carlton listed players will be playing VFL Reserves due to our strong numbers on the park at the moment. Will only improve as Lebois, Byrne, Gorringe and Lamb return. There could as many as 8 players listed playing in the NB Reserves by mid season.

I get my VFL coverage from Twitlacine60 updates. Almost like being at the game. Get the action on the field as well as some sad romantic fantasies .

Gives the colour of the crowd too, can almost hear the grumpy old men yelling at the players.

Do we completley disregard the lineup when considering who will play v Essendon on Sunday? McKay named for the 1s so will that mean Casboult will drop back etc.

Not named for the development squad but could easily come in. Look for him in an Northern Footy League game otherwise.

Expect at least 5 or 6 from the extended AFL bench to miss the game because they're playing the day before the Dons game.

Until 5pm today, anyone can be dropped from the AFL squad through injury, then after that it's down to emergencies.
