he's effectively been put in fat club (six months late) now that pickett has vacated the extra large seat...
its amazing that Russell couldn't identify Mitch as being unfit... even after the boys started calling him brackets!
In the end imo it's a pretty poor way of managing a player he was in clear need of a week or 2 off and a block of games in the reserves long before now .
But instead it seems by Teague comments the MC have over ruled the medical staff and had him playing to supposedly add experience to our forwardline .
Seems pretty entitled to me especially as he will most likely walk back into the senior side in a week or 2 and we certainly haven't missed his mediocre contributions .

Fasolo BOG for us. Earnt every one of his touches, competed hard, scored a goal and set up a few.

Any chance to get a call up? Has he done enough to try and save his career?

But how was his outside run and pressure? If bad, how do you rate his ability to step up to an inside midfield role in the seniors?

These are tough questions because it was mostly a shit game to watch and I wasn't paying huge attention.

I still think he's too heavy, which does affect his mobility. It'll likely keep him from reigniting his AFL career unless he loses a few.

If Fas survives, then it might be only Phillips, Lobbe, Kerr and Garlett from the senior list that may be viewed as prime delisting material, seeing Polson and Macreadie (how did these two go today?) have contracts.

Both were okay. Polson cracked in hard, good on him, but as usual lacked the class to execute.

Macreadie battled hard against the big bald bloke from Williamstown. Didn't lose many 1v1s, a fair game from him. Did provide some handy rebound, but it is clear that he needs a pre-season to get some strength back in the legs.
